Flight ticket cancellation has become a necessity for thousands of users. Cape Air makes this job easier. Its cancellation policy depends upon the way of ticket purchase, whether the ticket was purchased through Cape Air, a ticket booking agency, or a partner airline. Changes made on the day of departure are permitted and are not considered a cancellation in accordance with Cape Air Cancellation policy if the flight change is made prior to the time for the departure of the original reservation and Cape Air is able to accommodate the Customer on a new flight on the original day of travel. Depending on the terms of the original ticket's fare, additional charges might be necessary.

Any unused portion of a ticket purchased with a refundable fare will be refunded in full by Cape Air, including the fare, taxes, and other fees included in the total price of the ticket, less any service fee, if applicable. Value Forfeited for Noncompliance with Cancellation or No Show Policies: Tickets for any reservation not cancelled in accordance with Cape Air's Cancellation Policies or for Customers who No Show for a flight are not eligible for a refund (full or partial), and Customers may not have the ticket value applied toward the purchase of future travel on Cape. If this happens, your ticket will have no further value. A Refundable ticket that has been determined to have no value in accordance with Cape Air Refund Policy, in the event of exceptional circumstances, such as the death of a family member, be refunded in full or in part or have its value applied toward the purchase of a Cape Air ticket, at Cape Air's sole discretion.
In the event of extenuating circumstances, such as the death of a family member, a Non-Refundable ticket that has been determined to have no value in accordance with this Section may, at Cape Air's sole discretion, be refunded in full or in part, or have its value applied toward the purchase of a Cape Air ticket. A ticket purchased with a non-refundable Cape Air Cancellation Fee will not be eligible for a refund of any kind, including the fare and any taxes, fees, or additional costs that were included in the total cost of the ticket. The ticket value cannot be credited toward the cost of upcoming travel on Cape Air for reservations that have not been cancelled in accordance with the airline's cancellation policies or for customers who fail to show up for a flight. The ticket is useless in this scenario.
