Southwest Airlines allows customers to bring small pets into the cabin on their domestic flights. However, pets are not allowed on international flights. Each customer is allowed to bring only 1 pet on board. The carrier may contain up to 2 cats or dogs of the same species and is considered carry-on baggage. It must be small enough to fit under the seat in front of you. Southwest does not require a health certificate or other documentation from the customer's veterinarian to transport pets.
